Southern Right Whale

Southern Right Whale - Eubalena australis

Callosites are found on the head of the Right Whale. Whale lice (or Cyamid Crustaceans) live on the callosites and make them appear white, pink, yellow or orange. Barnacles and parasitic worms may also live on them as well.
