QUESTIONS & RESOURCES

Ocean Alliance maintains libraries of information spanning back to the 1960's. There is a humpback vocalization library with more than 6000 hours of original recordings, books about whales and issues threatening whales and their environment, a video collection about whales and other marine creatures, and a vast directory of publications about whale research around the world. Evolving from the seas of information we are compiling from the Voyage of the Odyssey we have created a Q&A section that allows you to ask questions and to review archived answers to frequently asked questions about whales, OA, etc.

Ocean Alliance's biologist and senior director, Kim Marshall participates in WhaleNet's "A.S.K. a Scientist" whereby you can ask marine scientists your questions. Or follow their answers on WhaleNet's continuously updated ASK Archives. WhaleNet is an interactive educational web site that focuses on whales and marine research. WhaleNet is sponsored by Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts with initial support from the National Science Foundation. WhaleNet can be found at http://whale.wheelock.edu
