Recently named a "Hero of the Planet" by Time magazine, Sylvia Earle now comes together with her friend and under-the-sea colleague, Ellen Prager, to provide readers with an in-depth exploration and study of aqua-science, or what is happening under the surface of the seas.

An excellent introduction to Earth's final frontier.

Another useful account about deep oceans but in more detail than the above.

A reissue of the classic original recording of the hauntingly beautiful songs of humpback whales. It has sold more copies than any other natural history recording in history.

Includes the sounds of blue and fin whales which carry across oceans, as well as the bizarre sounds of right whales and more songs of humpback whales.

Compositions by whales, transcribed, arranged, played and improvised upon by humans (by saxophonist Paul Winter and keyboardist Paul Halley). Some selections include a narration by actor Leonard Nimoy.
